27 Aug Turning Plastic Trash back to Oil
A common estimate is that 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide each year which equates to 1 million per minute. And it takes 60-100 million barrels of oil to produce them. We need to solve the plastic problem by using far less, but as we all know plastic is everywhere. A man in Japan has developed a way to convert this trash back to oil. And while the best solution for our environment would be no plastic at all, this invention does have the potential to start cleaning things up. Have a look.
